AFRICAN WIND ENERGY ASSOCIATION is proud to announce the 3rd annual Wind Power Africa Conference & Renewable Energy Exhibition to take place on 9-11 May 2011 in Cape Town, South Africa.

The opportunities for wind power in Africa and South Africa in particular are immense due to a favourable investment climate offering profitable feed-in tarriffs for wind energy, tremendous CDM project potential, ideal natural conditions was well as increasing energy demand and capacity shortages in growing economies. The 3rd Wind Power Africa Conference & Renewable Energy Exhibition will examine the current and future wind energy markets in Africa and highlight attractive business opportunities, with depth analysis and country case studies

Exhibition

Apart from the conference, the event also features a Renewable Energy Exhibition for companies and organizations related to wind, wave, sun and hydrogen energy industry to profile themselves. A number of options and stand sized are available. Space is limited and early registration is advised. To cater for the interest shown already and the expected demand we have considerably increased available exhibition space. The cost for visitors is R60 per person per day.

Speaking Opportunities

If you are interested in speaking at this event please submit a speaking proposal (presentation title. 4-5 bullet points and a brief synopsis) to this address by 28 February 2011. Our programme committee will evaluate all proposals received, and we will notify you from 1 March 2011 about the success of your application.

Scheduled Tours
